It is an honor for me to have been nominated as the Chair of the APPNA Medical Corps by APPNA President Asif Mohiuddin.

Medical volunteering is my passion, and over the past decade, I have had the privilege of volunteering in various parts of the world. APPNA, with its 4,800+ physician members, has the potential to become a global leader in providing medical services to underserved populations.

We have recently launched a new website for the APPNA Medical Corps, where volunteers and members can register, donate, and learn more about our current and past projects.

Additionally, we have unveiled a new APPNA Medical Corps logo and T-shirts to help promote the organization’s work.

So far, we have successfully completed three projects—two in Guatemala and one in Pakistan.

We will also be holding a medical camp in Karachi during our winter meeting in December.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my co-chair, Dr. Minal Ahson, and committee members Fatima Hussain and Usman Choudhry for their invaluable support.
